Ive installed GNOME 3.2 on my desktop (Core 2 Duo, GeForce 8600GT) with X.org server 1.11 and nvidia driver 280.13. Overall performance its pretty nice but sometimes (when I resize widgets or type text in entries in GTK+3 applications or choose window from windows preview) whole environment get sluggish for a while. Jan 03, 2011 I dont use torrents as I find them too slow and inconsistent, so instead use Rapidshare. I am sure many others use megadowloader etc, and a solution to this I think could be JDownloader.
